Spark Universe is a group of passionate and creative minds focused on developing unique content in the world of Minecraft.

Since our inception in 2017, we've evolved from a close-knit group of friends creating content for Minecraft into a globally recognized organization. We take immense pride in the quality and impact of our work across both versions of Minecraft, and our continued commitment to excellence and innovation in the Minecraft community.

Our growth from a group of friends to an established organization with employees worldwide has enabled us to undertake larger and more exciting projects over the years.

In 2020, the idea for Essential was born—a Minecraft mod designed to enhance the Minecraft Java edition experience with quality of life, accessibility, and social features. During the concept phase, we discovered ModCore, a project with similar objectives developed by mod creators from the Hypixel community. This discovery led us to integrate the ModCore team into Spark Universe, culminating in the creation of Essential Mod.
