We want Essential to be a safe, fun, and welcoming space for everyone. That’s why we have community and safety standards in place, along with an easy way to report players if they’re behaving inappropriately.

Our Rules
Keep It Clean – Help keep the chats fun and positive for all ages—skip anything inappropriate, and steer clear of shady links.
Be Nice & Respectful – Treat others the way you’d want to be treated. Keep things friendly, avoid hurtful language, and help create a space where everyone feels included.
Protect the Community – Let’s keep the space free of ads, scams, and anything sketchy.
When Someone’s Not Playing Nice
If someone’s behavior isn’t your vibe, you’ve got tools to handle it — you can Mute, Remove, or Block them. Just follow the steps here: Essential Friends
You can also report them using our in-game reporting tools.
While in the chat, right click on the message/image/link you want to report. Select
Report. Choose the best reason for the situation (see list below) and select
Report. Reasons for Account Action:
Spam, abuse or harassment
- Spamming, using hate speech, bullying, or anything abusive. That includes discrimination, threats, or making others feel unsafe.
Malicious content
- Sharing harmful software or anyone’s private info without permission.
Inappropriate content
- Sending NSFW or overly violent content.
- Sharing sexual content or inappropriate images/links.
- Promoting harm, suicide, or self-injury.
Illegal goods or services
- Sharing content about drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, weapons, or real-money gambling.
Misinformation and misuse
- Spreading false info, scams, or using Essential in dishonest ways.
