Installed By Other Mods
Sometimes mod creators opt to include Essential Mod in their own mods to take advantage of our development APIs.

Why was the Essential Mod installed by another mod?
Essential Mod is equipped with a suite of tools and APIs designed for mod development, which other mod creators might choose to integrate into their projects. If a mod requiring Essential Mod is used, it will automatically install Essential Mod to ensure compatibility. Essential Mod is necessary for these mods to function correctly. However, you can still deactivate Essential Mod's features in its settings without impacting other mods that depend on it.
Disabling Essential Mod
From the home screen, open the
Essential SettingsDisable
General > Essential
Re-enabling Essential Mod
From the home screen, select
OptionsClick the
Essential Settings located on the right sideEnable
General > Essential
Removing Essential Mod
To remove Essential Mod, delete it from your game instance's
mods folder. Note that if you're using mods that depend on Essential Mod, they must also be removed, or they will prompt Essential Mod to be reinstalled. If you’re having any trouble removing Essential Mod, please reach out to contact our support team on Discord.
