Host from main menu
Press the
Host World buttonSelect the Minecraft world you want to host
Select friends you want to invite and press

DoneCan I host worlds with mods?
You can host and join worlds with mods—as long as everyone has the exact same mods and versions installed. You and your friends simply need to add the mods you want to use to your mods folder and start hosting. If you're using the standard Minecraft launcher, you can follow these steps:
Open the Minecraft launcher.
Click on the
Installations tab.Hover over your installation and click the
📁 button.Navigate to the
Mods folder.Place the desired mod(s) into this folder.
How many players can we have?
You can have up to 8 players in a world at a time.
That’s the current limit built into the game itself, so there’s no way to increase it for now.
Can the host be offline?
The host needs to be online because they are the server. If they’re offline, there’s nowhere for the other players to connect to.
