Want to unlock some free rewards? We occasionally share codes through our social media and official Essential Mod Discord community that can be redeemed for cosmetics, emotes, and sometimes Essential Coins.
Redeem codes in Essential and learn what to do if your code isn't working.
Redeeming codes
Redeeming a code is a quick way to claim rewards in Essential. Follow the steps below to redeem a code on your account, or check the troubleshooting section if you run into an error.
How to redeem a code
Open the
Wardrobe.Click on
Redeem in the top right corner beside your coins balance.
Copy and paste your code into the space provided.
Click
Redeem to claim your reward.Can someone redeem a code for me?
Codes must be redeemed directly by you on your own account. The Essential team cannot redeem codes on your behalf, even if you currently don't have access to your computer.
If a code is expiring soon, make sure to redeem it before the expiration date.

Having trouble redeeming a code?
The redeem code button isn't showing
Make sure you are using the latest version of Essential. Update Essential Mod and check again.
I get an error
Check that:
The code is still within its validity period. You can find this information in the social or community post where the code was shared.
The code was entered exactly as provided. Codes are case-sensitive, so make sure uppercase and lowercase letters match.
I've already redeemed the code
Each code can only be redeemed once per account. Trying to redeem the same code again will result in an error.
