Learn how to install Essential Mod to your CurseForge modpack.
Step 1: Installing a modpack
Open the CurseForge app
Press the
Browse tabFind your favourite modpack from the list and click
InstallStep 2: Enable content management
Go to the
My Modpacks tabClick on the icon of the modpack
Open the three dot menu
⋮ next to the play buttonSelect
Profile OptionsEnsure that the option called
Allow content management for this profile is enabledStep 3: Add Essential Mod
Go to the
My Modpacks tabClick on the icon of the modpack
Go to the
Content tabPress the
Add More Content buttonSearch for
Essential Mod and press install on the mod with the 🔷 iconRemove any custom main menu mods
To ensure Essential Mod functions correctly, we recommend removing any custom main menu mods.
Go to the
My Modpacks tabClick on the icon of the modpack
Navigate to the
Content tab.Disable the following mods:
- Fancymenu
- Custom Main Menu
- Packmenu
- Drippy Loading Screen
- Audio Extension for FancyMenu (
fm_audio_extension) - Luna
