Playing CurseForge modpacks with your friends has never been this easy!

Learn how to install Essential Mod to your CurseForge modpack.

Open the CurseForge app

Press the Browse tab

Find your favourite modpack from the list and click Install

Go to the My Modpacks tab

Click on the icon of the modpack

Open the three dot menu ⋮ next to the play button

Select Profile Options

Ensure that the option called Allow content management for this profile is enabled

Go to the My Modpacks tab

Click on the icon of the modpack

Go to the Content tab

Press the Add More Content button

Search for Essential Mod and press install on the mod with the 🔷 icon

To ensure Essential Mod functions correctly, we recommend removing any custom main menu mods.

Go to the My Modpacks tab

Click on the icon of the modpack

Navigate to the Content tab.

Disable the following mods:

Fancymenu

Custom Main Menu

Packmenu

Drippy Loading Screen

Audio Extension for FancyMenu (fm_audio_extension)

Luna
