Can I host worlds with mods?
Yes, you can host worlds with mods. Members have to join with the exact same mods installed. You and your friends both need to add the same mods to your mods folder. If you're using the standard Minecraft launcher, you can follow these steps:
Open the Minecraft launcher.
Click on the
Installations tab.Hover over your installation and click the
📁 button.Navigate to the
Mods folder.Place the desired mod(s) into this folder.
How many people can play together?
You can have up to 8 players connected at the same time. You can however invite as many friends as you want to your world.
Can the host be offline?
The host needs to be online because they act as the server. If they’re offline, there’s nowhere for the other players to connect to.
