Enable debug logs for Fabric

  • Launch the Minecraft launcher
  • Click on the Installations tab
  • Hover over your chosen installation and click on the three dots ...
  • Select Edit
  • Click on More Options
  • In the JVM Arguments field, add -Dessential.debuglog=debug at the beginning. Ensure there's a space between this argument and the next It should appear like: -Dessential.debuglog=debug -Xmx2G...
  • Continue by following the instructions at Sending Logs

  • Enable debug logs for Forge

    Debug logs are enabled by default. Proceed with following the instructions below.


    Sending Logs

  • Before sending the logs ensure that you can reproduce the issue
  • Open the Minecraft launcher
  • Click on the Installations tab
  • Hover over your selected installation and click the 📂 button
  • Open the logs folder
  • Send the debug or debug.log file for analysis
